About the Author
Anti-Terror Mouse Tale

Sailor: I lived aboard sailboats (first a 38 Columbia Yawl and later a 37 Jim Brown design Searunner trimaran) with my husband and sons for nearly five years without T.V., phone, computer, hot water, refrigeration or money. I sailed pregnant and can navigate, fiberglass and fish.

I got aboard because I love my husband and it was what he had always wanted to do. I stayed aboard because it became one of the loves of my life. If we could afford it we would be there still.

(If anyone has an old live-aboard sailboat they want to be rid of, I can promise to give it the most loving home;) We often rehabilitate boats for friends and neighbors who are novices or less boat-handy.)

If there is wisdom in my books it comes from all the fishermen, old women and long days and nights on the water.
